Since the age of twenty-two, Michael has lived in the trenches and knows what it takes to succeed. He possesses a rare combination of inspirational and sales training talent.
He began his career as a corporate recruiter for Ross Perot’s Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He was the top recruiter in the country. He was “hand-picked” to lead the Central European Recruiting Division and became the youngest manager in all of EDS/GM International Operations.
He began his training career when he joined Robbins Research International (RRI), Tony Robbins’ company, as a Regional Sales Manager and Trainer. Because of his success, he was promoted to the position of Vice President of Sales. Michael led the company to record growth for 7 consecutive years. While at RRI, he co-created Mastery University and personally conducted hundreds of trainings in North America, Europe and Australia.
Over the past decade, Michael has helped build several respected enterprises while continuing to model and study the lives of achievers who thrive on and off the job. In 1998, Hutch joined Interactive Telesis (OTC: TSIS) as its Vice President of Sales. In less than 2 years, sales multiplied six fold and he was recognized for helping the stock price increase from .50 to over $5 per share. In 2000 Michael became the Director of Sales for SpeechWorks International (NASDAQ: SPWX) where he was named to the President’s Club. In 2002 Hutch joined software startup Vocalocity as Vice President of Sales and grew the company's revenues from scratch and helped the company raise $14.5 million in venture capital.
Michael received his BA degree from Georgetown University where he was also a varsity letterman in football and lacrosse. He is an alumni board member at Georgetown. He lives in Lake Murray SC and has four children: a daughter and three boys. He loves coaching his children’s soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis and football teams.
David began his career in training back in high school when his parents exposed him to books, seminars, and tapes by Zig Ziglar and Tom Hopkins. He put to use those early teachings after graduating college by embarking on his first sales position selling vacation property. He led the Island One Corporation for top sales for two years straight. Wanting to get back into training, he joined Tony Robbins International training company as a field sales representative. He quickly rose to the top of the Robbins organization by setting sales records and leading by example. The three years he was National Sales Director he and his sales reps broke more seminar attendance records than any other time period in the history of RRI. After leaving the Robbins organization he co-founded the “Heroes and Legends Business Network”-a system designed to give professionals a success strategy for gaining the edge in their business lives. The company and programs achieved international attention and were featured articles in many success magazines.
He has also held several sales and sales management positions in high tech companies. He was Micro J System’s first Vice President of Sales. In 2001 he joined software startup Vertel Corporation as Vice President of Sales and grew the company's revenues from $0 to a run rate of $35+ million in only two years.
David received his BA degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and now lives in Carlsbad, CA. with his wife and daughter.
